1. Very Good. Stained throughout. Oiled internally. Deep, wide scuffed scratch type mark to rear chamber. Burst bubble to lower rear. A few tiny nicks and fisheyes. Little flake or two to embossing. Some scuffs and scratches. Interesting makers details simply say The Rylands, Barnsley! 2. Very Good. Stained and dirty throughout. Flake to front lip, little flake to rear lip and a few other lip nicks. Little flake to lower rear lip. Some rust. Fisheyes and impact surface flakes around base edge. Some other fisheyes and impact marks. Scuffs and scratches as well. Couple of nibbled flakes to the heel. OK, maybe this isn't an English codd. 3. Excellent. Couple of minor upper lip fisheyes. Little nibbled flake to front base heel. Couple of other little heel nicks. Below the H of Shaw is one of the oddest bubbles I have seen, sort of I shaped, with some dirt inside from a small open part at the top. A little grime should clean off. Some fine scratches and scuff marks. Larger fisheye near right base edge. Interesting with both embossing and sand blasting. EST: $20 - 40
