T. Harry Marshall / Registered / Excelsior / Man with flag climbing mountain / Trade Mark / Cue / Murchison. W.A. Smooth base. (Western Australia) Aerated Water, Codd Codd original type, one way pour. Applied top. Aqua. 6 oz. 186 mm 1890s
Very Good (7.3). Some fine wear to upper lip with a fisheye or two. Small 2 x 3 mm flake to left rear lip below on the side. Sticky tape residue around the lip, this will clean off. Couple of small spots of inner dirt will clean out. Shallow 3 x 2 mm flake to right rear lower body. Below this towards right rear base edge is a bruise over about 7 x 4 mm, this is reasonably shallow. A few nibbled impact marks to the embossing, but mostly it is pretty good. Some scuffs and scratches scattered around. A few patches of surface dullness, but mostly this is in original, shiny condition. A few small fisheyes. This is the fourth example that we have sold, but all the other had the Barnard details to the rear, this is the first one not marked with the glass maker details that we've sold. A lovely little bottle. Estimate: $300-400
