Good. There are two lip repairs, approximately 25 x 15 mm and about 15 x 10 mm. The glaze is speckled all over giving this demijohn a crude appearance, with little blowouts in the glaze over most of the tan colour, the offwhite body has plenty of dark spots. The upper part of B from Beverages has a small scrape behind it from manufacture, with the ink stamp going over it. Above this there is a small flake on the shoulder 4 x 3 mm, with a few other lesser flakes and scrapes around the shoulder area. The rear area stamp is not clearly struck on the left hand side, but is still legible. The original wire handle is in place and in good condition, although rusty. There is no internal thread stopper with this demijohn. Grade: 6.75 Estimate: $75 - 100
