Frenler / -6 oz. No base mark. Household Fruit Jar Rolled lip, spun finish. Mid aqua. 6 oz. 144 mm. 1910s
Excellent. An extremely crudely made piece, there is a crescent shaped indent on the inner neck that is from manufacture, an open bubble on the inner neck. Under the base is a partially open bubble with some dirt inside it, the base is very crude with an orange peel effect from making. Some spots of suface rust to the rear. Some light wear to the shoulder and a few minor scuffs and scratches to be found. Plenty of unusual mould marks around the neck and body, heaps of airbubbles, just a wonderful piece and a jar (presumably jam?) we have never seen before. Glass looks Australian made (jar was Australian found) but uncertain of exact origin. Grade: 8.75 Estimate: $30 - 40
