Very fine signature to base looks like Sarreguimines although maybe not enough letters in the first part of the word. Very difficult to read. Also impressed are a funny sort of C and a 1. Round bodied two part ceramic inkwell. Household Ink Round inkwell. Four pen rest holes around outside, removable inkwell from centre. Red-brown glaze. 55 mm. 1890s-1900s
Excellent. Lovely inkwell. Main body has a 6 x 3 mm chip on the rim around the base. A few minor scuffs and marks elsewhere. Removable inkwell is in lovely condition. Great looking inkwell, excellent addition to an old desk setting. Grade: 8.6 Estimate: $40 - 60
