1: Good. Has a 2 x 1 mm impact mark to the right lip area, there is a 30 mm crack running down from this. On the left side there is a 32 mm crack running down from the top. The left part of the pot has a discoloured stain, more noticeable from the rear. 2: Good. A 3 x 1 mm flake from the lip on the ointment side has a 20 mm hairline coming down from it which joins up with a 34 mm hairline to form a Y shape. A small split in the lip over the trade mark. Rough at the bottom on the ointment side, all glazed over so from making. Some general discolouration. 3: Very Good. Glazed over chip under the lip over the trade mark. 8 x 2 mm mark under lip over the over side, appears to be from manufacture? Some areas of discolouration, but really nothing wrong with this pot. 4: Very Good. This is the later version and a larger size, it has different writing and also comes with the lid. There is a small flake to the rim, 3 x 2 mm. Manufacturing split above ointment which comes down about 7 mm. A couple of discoloured spots and some minor crazing. The lid has an 11 x 7 mm but very shallow flake to the upper side, a hairline under it over 25 mm and two shallow flakes under the lid as well. A very nice example, quite hard to get. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 60
