Very Good. Three chips repaired around flange. Face is great, it does have three flaws to the face from manufacture, one on the N of Native appears as a small chip, the glaze around this indicates that this is from making, as is the smaller glaze flake around the right eye of the bear and then another small mark on the R of Price that is atually on a raised piece, these all would certainly seem to be manufacturing faults, and are minor in any case. Otherwise, there are some scuffs and scratches to the glaze which can be seen when the light is reflecting off of the surface. The worst of the repaired flange chips is over about 35 mm, and up to 10 mm high, pretty much up to the bottom of the lid, but not under the rim at all. The next one is 14 x 10 mm, and the third is only seemingly on the outer flange, and over about 20 x 5 mm. There is also one tiny flake to the under side of the flange that has been filled, this is very small. This is a good solid example of an early lid. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $100 - 150
