Good. There has been some chipping around the rim and lip that has been expertly repaired. The inner rim is the best place to view it as the original glaze stands out versus the glossy overpainting. Most of the chipping seems to be quite shallow as the painting inside at its deepest is about 9 mm. The coating over the top may have been applied throughout, as it has been recoated around Walkerville Beer, as has the handle, which looks all original. If anything, there may be a chip repaired to the side handle. This is a great looking jug, and quite hard to get. Grade: 6.7 Estimate: $150 - 250
