E. Rowlands / Trade / (Shield) / Registered 6 January 1880 / (Miner & Farmer) / (Coat of Arms) / Mark. Base is smooth with an unusual mark to middle. Household Cordial Octagonal. Tool finished double collar top. Light Amethyst. 26 oz. 263 mm. 1900s
Very Good. The front left lip has a small surface bruise. At the front near the Miner is a burst bubble over 13 x 6 mm that has some dirt in it and is discoloured. On one of the back panels has an 8 x 4 mm discoloured fractured bubble as well. Another rear panel has a 5 x 2 mm surface bruise. There is a bit of milky haze inside in places, most noticeable in the shoulder. Some spots of dullness and light marks outside. Strong embossing with a little flake on the W of Rowlands and another to the top left of the embossed shield. Nice bottle, with a light tumble and a clean up of the bubble on the front this will be an absolute beauty. Grade: 7.4 Estimate: $100 - 150
