H. Francis & Co / Chemists / Melbourne. Pot Lid Cap Black print on white ceramic lid. 44 mm diameter. 1900s
Good. Just some crazing to be seen on the face, a tiny portion of a flange chip can be seen from the face as well. This chip at about 12 o'clock is 16 x 12 mm, with a 5 x 5 mm section of this being all the way through the flange. On the side flange at about 10 o'clock is a hairline going down 12 mm to an impact mark on the bottom flange, which has an associated horseshoe fracture along the flange over 18 mm. There is an inner flange flake over 8 x 6 mm which is shallow. Quite an ornate pot cap which is quite hard to get. Grade: 6.7 Estimate: $250 - 300
