Bargeware Teapot: Raised decoration including name panel: Mrs W Gardner, Corston, Nr Bristol, 1882. No potters stamp. Pottery Bargeware Multi-coloured. Applied decoration. Original lid. 270 mm with lid.. 1882+
Good. Repaired. The spout of this one has been repaired - looks like the original piece (about 30 mm in length) has been put back in place. Some varnish is coming off the tiny teapot decoration on top of the lid and it looks like this has been at least partly rebuilt. A very good repair. The little projections that hold the lid in place when pouring are both chipped off. Couple of the white ridges around the top have flakes. Shallow flake chip under the base. Only minor marks elsewhere. These are really spectacular teapots! Grade: N/A Estimate: $300 - 400
