Large Brown Jug with Horses and Dogs in a Hunt Scene. Potters Stamp: Hard to see, but is the Fowler stamp from their Thomastown factory. Pottery Australian Large brown embossed jug. Possibly half gallon. 200 mm. 1930s
Mint. This has crazing from manufacture. A little bit of usage wear under the base. A few scratches to the shiny glaze. The embossed design is a little hard to decipher in places. This has the R. Fowler Ltd pictorial potters mark underneath from their Thomastown factory in Vcitoria. We have never seen a jug like this from Fowler, Victoria. Grade: 9.5 Estimate: $100 - 150
