Advertising painted glass for: Victoria Pharmacy, H. E. Gamson. (Victoria) Signs Glass Painted glass sign, brownish red design with gold writing. 658 x 774 mm. 1900s
Excellent. Likely mounted in a window frame at the front of the pharmacy, there is grime around the edge where it has been mounted in something. Some other surface dust will clean off the front. Couple of minor scratches. There are some flakes around the edges. The paintwork is great, some reasonably small missing patches to the right side where there is a flake or a scratch through the paint. Quite a superb piece of history. The glass is thick - 8 mm. If postage were required, this would have to be sent by courier. Gamson was registered 22nd August 1877. He was at 128 High Street, St Kilda: 1898-1902, 466 Spencer Street, West Melbourne: 1903-1907.
