2 stamps from the Waterloo Fire Brick Company: An oval ceramic Waterloo Thornton stamp and rectangular N27 stamp. (New South Wales) Pottery Stoneware 1. Heavy fired Terracotta. Raised print. 2. Salt glazed. raised print. 92 mm across and 58 mm across. 1920s+
The Waterloo Thornton stamp has small chips and flakes to the face but generally fine. The N27 stamp has a 19 x 12 mm chip off one edge coming down from a small mark on the face - just misses the bottom of the N. Otherwise a really nice little piece of pottery. Interesting pair of items from Australia's pottery history. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
