Sold for A$40
Square section with raised panels. Fancy neck. O at bottom of one panel. Smooth indented base. Goldfields Pickle Square section with raised panels. Octagonal bulbous neck. Ring around neck. Applied top. Aqua. Pint. 209 mm. 1850s
Very Good. The surface has some swirled etching. Oiled internally. Dull throughout. Just some scratches and marks. A really nice bottle and a harder to get Goldfields Pickle. This is where the description ended in Auction 22 when we sold this for $100. This item was returned as there is a fine 15 mm surface fracture in the neck groove where it goes from the square body to the bulbous neck. This does not go through the glass, it is only a shallow split type mark. Quite hard to see but it is there. Offered at only $10, this remains a nice looking piece and in quite good condition. Grade: 7.3 Estimate: $$50.00 - $75.00
