Bronger Bros, / Penrith. / Trade Registered Mark. / (Handshake). No potters stamp. Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Two tone, blue lip, off white body. Black Print. 13 oz. 173 mm. 1900s
Very Good. Glaze wear to upper lip with a few small glaze flakes associated. A few tiny nicks to outer blob. Some fine wear to the sharp shoulder edge. Patch of rust stain to left upper body. Shallow flake to front near base edge. Small thin nibbled flake to rear base edge. A few small flakes and some wear to the base edge. Rust under base. A little glaze wear in places. Some scratches. Some black pinprick marks throughout, these appear to be from making. Crudely made, the blue lip is seemingly a little lighter than usual and the colour comes down the neck a bit as well. The ink stamp is fuzzy. Possibly a different potter? The only difference, apart from being fuzzy, that I can see is there is no fullstop after Bros. on this one when there does seem to be on other examples I have seen. Not much of a difference, but an interesting bottle nonetheless. Grade: 7.2 Estimate: $200 - 250
