Excellent. Below the S of Paste is a fine surface mark that can be felt. I am unsure if this is from making or a small impact mark? It is very minor nonetheless. A little rust stain to the upper right face and over the upper right corner. Some very fine crazing. Minor glaze miss to outer flange on lower part of lid. Small scrape to lower flange edge on the outside at top of lid - on the part that goes onto the base. Tiny inner flange nick to glaze has a very fine hairline from it across the inner lid surface only and over only 10 mm, extremely minor. Come with a base that is crazed and discoloured. This has a few scrapes and little flakes to the edges. Grading on lid only. This is quite a hard to get Melbourne lid. Grade: 8 Estimate: $1500 - 1750
