Very Good. Polished. Smoothed over lip flake. Tiny flake to inner lip. Chunks of copper stuck inside the base. A few little bits of copper stuck under the seal edge as well. Remains of scratches. Tiny flake to front base edge. Nice, well struck seal. Australian found, it appears most of the Lognac claret came in to Melbourne during 1864 & 1867 although the wine itself could be vintages from the 1850s. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $100 - 150
