Near Mint. Hints of rust around the top from the crown cap. Interestingly there is a cork inside and sealing wax or similar put over the top. There is a distinct line formed at the lower neck which is from making - actually looks like the potter had made it to distinguish where a different glaze should go for the top but obviously never happened. A line of surface scratches down the back. A tiny making mark or two under the base. Stunningly strong print. Sensational example. Grade: 9 Estimate: $200 - 300
