Pair of WA Ginger Beers: 1. Perth Aerated Water / Trade / (BCD in a Diamond) / Mark / & Bottling Company Ld. No potters stamp. 2. J Dempsey / Trade (Diamond) Mark / Kalgoorlie. (Western Australia) Ginger Beer Various 1. Dump. All White. Black Print. 10 oz. 2. Dump. All White. Impressed print that also has blue ink glazed into it. 10 oz. 173 & 166 mm. 1900s-1910s
1. Very Good. Speckled glaze, maybe caused by stain, maybe as made? Very tight 43 mm hairline to the back left middle. 16 x 8 mm area of chipping to the right shoulder. The odd other fleabite and glaze wear around. Strong example. (7.5). 2. Good. Generally there is a little bit of stain. Some rust spots. Minor marks. But there is a hairline which widens to a crack through the lower section and back. This line extends from the front mid left where it runs up about 35 mm, then heads down through the print to the right base edge (120 mm), across the right side of the base (60 mm), and finally all the way up the back to the mid right shoulder (160 mm). Bottle seems pretty solid despite this crack and displays pretty well. (6.0). Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
