Small hexagonal Chinese Opium Bowl. Pattern around the underside. Diamond type mark on each side. Three marks on one upper edge. Chinese Opium Bowl Hexagonal Grey/Light Tan stoneware. Small stamps and decoration. 66 mm across flat sides. 19th Century
Very Good. BUT it does have the main opening broken from where it fit into the pipe. This bowl would have had a thinner upper level beyond what is there now. A couple of small chips down on the wider edge of the top. Shallow 6 x 5 mm chip on one of the hexagonal edges. A few other small flakes and nibbles around the outer edges of the bowl. Some stain. Nice patina from use. Another great looking piece. Grade: 7 Estimate: $80 - 120
