Excellent. Esto perpetua is a Latin phrase meaning "let it be perpetual". It is the motto of Idaho, not that I think this letter clip is from Idaho. A little dark discolouration. Some fine surface corrosion. Quite a lovely little item. Norwich Union Life Insurance Society 1808-1958 had the motto Esto Perpetua, I wonder if this is from them? Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
