Plain pickle with H base mark. Original label for Black Horse Pickles, Piccalilli. (South Australia?). Household. Pickle. Applied top, spun finish. Aqua. 1 Pint. 205 mm. 1910s
Very Good. (N/A). Remains of lead seal around lip. Remains of label around neck, this is poor. Main body label is quite good, some tears to the edges and small holes to the main body of the label. A little discoloured as well, but a fabulous label all round. Bottle is grimy, likely found under a house in South Australia. The vendor is in SA, and the bottle was made at one of the South Australian glassworks, hence the question as to whether the label is from a South Australian company, I would suggest the possibility is high, whilst not certain. It is great though!. Estimate: $20-30
