E. Ride / Benalla. Polished pontil scar to base. Metal spout was R. Harrison Fitzroy but the name has mostly been deliberately ground off. (Victoria) Aerated Water Soda Syphon Round. Wheel cut branding. Clear. 30 oz. 240 mm. 1890s
Good. But there is a 55 mm crack to the body just to the left of the writing. Worn all over. Scuffy and dull. 20 x 7 mm area of chipping at the front base edge. Pitting, little fleabites and marks around. Typical early Victorian wheel cut variety but this is the first we've seen from E. Ride, possibly unique? Grade: 6 Estimate: $200 - 300
