Bright green gin, squat, rolled lip. Polished Pontil. (Europe). Spirits. Gin. Applied, rolled lip. Squat, wide body. Bright Green. Polished Pontil. 165 mm. 1840s
Very Good. (7.5). Grimy, this should soak off. 6 mm shallow fracture to inner lip, possibly a making mark. From this along the bottom of the lip at the fold of the rolled lip is a line I think as well? Hard to see due to location, but I think it is a fine fracture over about 40 mm, which is very shallow if it exists at all! Flake associated with pontil under the base. Some spots of usage wear to the heel. Some scuffs and scratches to the body. Lovely looking piece of glass, likely of European origin. I am not good with European glass dates, the vendor has suggested 1840s. Estimate: $100-150
