(Emu or Emu Chick) / Trade Mark / S. Mansfield / Maryboro'. No potters mark. (Maryborough, Queensland). Ginger Beer. Cork Stoppered. Dump. All White. Blue Print. 10 oz. 170 mm. 1890s - 1900s
Very Good. (7.1). 5 x 3 mm chip to upper left lip, about a 12 mm hairline from this along the upper lip. Some glaze misses from making around the lip. Couple of impacts as well. About a 70 mm hairline to the right neck and upper body, this is a little discoloured in places. Immediately below this is another 80 mm glaze hairline. A few minor glaze flakes and spots of wear around the shoulder. Three little impact surface flakes to the mid left. Couple of very minor flakes under the rear heel, possibly potters pulls. Some glaze misses around the lower bottle. Some scratches scattered around and a little surface wear in places, a tad discoloured too. Print is typically a little blurry. A solid example of a sought after bottle, different to the one we sold in the last auction as this has no potters stamp. Estimate: $300-500
