Label: (British Coat of Arms) / Finest / Cold Drawn / Castor Oil. No base mark.. Household. Castor Oil. Applied top. Light Blue. 2 oz. 163 mm. 1860s
Excellent. (8). Some dirt and grime which would soak out, but please don't soak this bottle with this label on it. Some annealing marks around inner lip from making. A few scratches. Unusual thin lip, as made. The all important label is highly detailed and obviously very early. It is heavily, darkly discoloured. There are some little holes and the bottom left has a small piece missing. This is a great item, very early in this colour synonymous with goldfields found castor oils, label has the design of a mid 19th century bottle as well and even better, this is an unusually small bottle which you rarely see as well - if ever! Estimate: $40-60
