N/A. (N/A). 1. Fair. Heavily discoloured throughout. 14 x 6 mm chip to outer left lower flange. 10 x 4 mm flake to inner flange edge. Some spots of rim wear. Crescent shaped crack through the glaze to the face over about 25 mm. No base with this one. This is Lid 213 in "The price guide to pot-lids and other underglaze colour prints on pottery, A. Ball, 1970." 2. Fair. Looks much better, but around the outer flange below the rim is a lengthy and very wide crack, you can nearly see daylight through this, it goes around about two thirs of the circumference! Otherwise, just the usual crazing and minor marks. Looks great from the face. No base with this one. This is Lid 245 in "The price guide to pot-lids and other underglaze colour prints on pottery, A. Ball, 1970." 3. VG. Little dint to outer rim near top is glaze over from making. However, there is some wear through the glaze around the rim in this region as well. Some other glaze wear around rim. Nibbled impact to bottom of flange has a hairline from it. Another smaller one to be found. Outer flange has a couple of long discoloured hairlines. Crazing throughout from making. Some fine scratches and minor marks. No base with this one. This is Lid 349 in "The price guide to pot-lids and other underglaze colour prints on pottery, A. Ball, 1970." 4. Good. Repaired chip to left outer flange, doesn't look to have encroached on the face at all. Paint has yellowed here a bit. Larger section to the right outer flange has been restored, again not on the face. The underside has been painted to blend these repairs in. Just some fine crazing and marks otherwise. No base with this one. This is Lid 258 in "The price guide to pot-lids and other underglaze colour prints on pottery, A. Ball, 1970." Estimate: $50-100
