G. H. Bennett, / Ginger / (G. H. B. within a flag) / Beer / Richmond. Potters stamp: The Bendigo Pottery / Epsom / Bendigo. (Victoria). Ginger Beer. Cork Stoppered. Champagne shape. Bright Green top. Black Print. 10 oz. 213 mm. 1910s
Excellent. (8). There are numerous small marks around the lip, possibly one or two of them are glaze chips but for the most part they have the rounded look of glaze misses from making. There are two similar marks on the front shoulder. Big kiln kiss on the back shoulder. Base edge has a 16 x 7 mm chip to the back near the potters mark. A couple of other small flake like marks near this and a clay pull further around to the back. A bit of discolouration to the white part of the glaze. Some smudging to the print. All in all a really good example of this bottle with a wonderful top colour. Estimate: $250-500
