Back Bar Barrel Shaped Decanter with Tap. Polished pontil to base.. Spirits. Whisky/Whiskey. Barrel shaped back bar decanter with wooden tap. No lid. 315 mm. 19th century
Excellent. (8). A bit dusty and grimy, this should clean up. Usage wear to heel. A few scratches to the body. The spigot is crudely made, basically applied with the end coarsely ground flat. This has some shallow flakes, but is likely from the grinding process. There is a small chip to left of this. Not sure on age, but looks quite early with the polished pontil and applied spigot, so surely is prior to 1900. Estimate: $50-75
