The / Perfection. No base mark. (Australia). Household. Jar. Lightning or Bail type. Ground lip. Clear. Quart. 175 mm without lid. 1900s
Excellent. (8.2). Some typical flakes around the ground lip and a 6 x 1 mm chip down a little at the back left. Couple of other flakes just down the inner lip. Superb embossing. Wonderfully made jar. Just the faintest hint of some amethyst in the glass. Wire and bail looks great but note that the lid is a fantasy one made of resin to fit the unusual sized mouth of the jar. Rare Australian found jar. Estimate: $200-400
