N/A. (N/A). 1. Good. 15 x 5 mm deepish chip to upper front left lip. Lip wear right around upper lip, there are also a couple of lip hairlines. Short dark scratch to right shoulder. A bit of glaze wear and discolouration scattered around. Some scratches. Quite a fat body, you do see these in a skinnier looking version as well. 2. Fair. Large 25 x 23 mm chip to outer left lip, also a crack in the middle of this. Small potters blow out to front lip. 20 mm hairline to right lip. Couple of flakes to lower lip. 12 x 4 mm flake to left base edge. 3. Good. A little glaze wear around upper lip with a very small glaze flake or two. Very heavy rust and discoloured stain throughout. Some wear scattered around. Lower front has a streak of glaze flaking, as in only just through the glaze. Making blowout to right has a small flake next to it. Some scratches and so forth. 4. Fair. Heavily chipped lip. Heavily stained and worn. Many glaze flakes around the body. Heavy wear. It would seem the reuse of this bottle has caused a lot of these issues with the acid likely having an effect. The tag is heavily deteriorated from the chemical as well. Sulfuric acid is often used for pickling of metals, pure or as a mixture with other acids. 5. Repaired. Lip has been in three pieces, these have been roughly glued back into place, though there is still a 16 x 7 mm piece missing. Minor impact or two to body. Some grime which will soak off. A good repair will leave a nice looking example of this classic bottle. Estimate: $30-60
