Small size mid blue Whirley salad oil. No base mark.. Household. Salad Oil. Small shear lip mid blue Whirley salad oil. 2 oz. 188 mm. 1880s
Very Good. (7). Opalescent stain throughout. Typical making marks around the shear lip, no real damage to speak of. Slightly etched feel in places. 10 mm fine line to lower left shoulder just where the hobnails start runs along the seam but looks to be a fine surface hairline that does not go through the glass thickness, possibly from making? Some scratches and minor marks. Great bottle for two reasons, this is even smaller than the usual cobalt examples that we sell and list as 3 ounce - and the colour is much lighter than usual being a pleasing see through mid blue colour! Estimate: $150-200
