Excellent. (8.4). Very fine frown shaped hairline at the front lip that is about 10 mm across. Inner lip has a couple of very thin flake chips, one at the back of about 5 x 4 mm and one in the front of only a couple of mm. Maybe another tiny mark or two to the inner lip. Typical of this type of Demijohn there are scuffs, scratches and wear around the unglazed part. This would have been made for use with a wicker basket originally with just the top and shoulder showing. Lovely example of a rare Hotel demijohn. Estimate: $1500-3000.
