Very Good (7.4). Hazy throughout. A few very shallow surface splits from making to the inner lip edge. Small fisheye to end of neck groove on writing side. Mid left just behind the seam on the writing only side has a patch of scuffed scratches over about 30 x 15 mm which are a bit discoloured. The wheat sheaf of the trade mark has a 5 x 3 mm nibbled mark to the middle part of the lower stalk, a shallow flake to the bottom but of this stalk. W of Lewis has a short scuffed scratch on it. Tiny nick under heel to trade mark side. A few fisheyes, but nothing large. Some fine scratches. Short deep scratch to lower front left lip. Couple of little impact nicks. A superb bottle, one of the most sought after in Australia. This is a lovely honey amber colour, it does have some olive tones as well, but amber is the predominant colour. A superb piece in this original, untouched condition, there are a couple of polished examples out there, I personally prefer this untouched condition to a polished example. EST: $15,000 - 20,000
