Well first thing to note is that the base has been replaced. The current one is a perspex one which wasn't around in 1913! Presumably the original was a glass base that was damaged. I would guess that all the metal pieces and of the course the glass inkwell and lid are original and they have been placed in the same layout. The glass inkwell itself is in lovely shape. Engraved lid is nice with a bit of tarnish. One of the metal handles is missing its foot and has a replacement piece so it balances. All in all looks great as it is. EST: $30 - 50
