Very Good (7.5). Polished. Bottle has been cleaned but most signs of manufacture still evident. Most of seams still there and mould marks on surface of glass still to be seen over the surface. Small pits, scratches and marks can be seen on body of bottle but don't really detract. There is a tiny split on the top of the lip only about 1 mm, this is from manufacture. It's possible the top has just been slightly re-shaped by a fraction of a millimetre, this is only a possibility as we really cannot tell for sure. There is a shallow and small burst bubble to the right seam near the shoulder. Has some light stain internally down the left side which does not detract in any way. Overall a superb example of one of Australia's best pictorial marble bottles. (This exact bottle has appeared twice before in our auctions - Auction 3, Lot 4 and Auction 28, Lot 37). EST: $5000 - 7500.
Reserve: $5000
