Brass bung surround stamped: S. A. Brewing Co. One Barrel End: F1651. The South Australian Brewing Co Ltd. (Brass tap surround is unstamped). Other Barrel End: Has been impressed: West End, Brewery?, Adelaide. But also painted over the top Pale E E Waverley Vinegar. (South Australia) (Too big for post). Beer. Barrel. Large wooden beer barrel. Brass bung and tap surrounds. Metal bands. 530 mm. 1920s+
Excellent. (N/A). This is a beauty. The bands are in great shape. The stamped bung surround has the usual marks and indents but is nice and clear. Interesting to see this one got used later by the Waverley Vinegar Co - another South Australian company. Great piece for the bar or man cave. Too big to post, if you need this sent you will have to make arrangements with a courier.. Estimate: $150-250
