Bailey / Fulham in two straight lines under base also G to one corner. Applied Thistle pattern around jug with Scotch Whisky applied slab to shoulder. British Registration Diamond to top of handle - 29th December 1880. Spirits Whisky Jug Approximately Quart size square section stoneware whisky jug. All over grey glaze with Blue and brown glaze highlights to decoration. 199 mm. 1880-1890s
VG+. Lovely looking stoneware piece. A handful of noticeable expansion cracks (part of manufacturing) around body. The very bottom of the branch on the front and the right hand side have been chipped off – not really noticeable until you look closely. Quite a spectacular piece of stoneware.
