Pratt Jar, The Battle of The Alma. A printed 7 and impressed "No3" to base. Household Prattware Multicoloured Prattware meat or fish paste type jar. Holds approximately 3 oz. 96 mm. 1860s
Very Good. Some light wear to the glaze around the lip. One patch on the lip edge has no glaze, this is from manufacture where the glaze did not adhere correctly. Tiny flake through the glaze on the neck. Small flake chip to side base edge, 6 x 6 mm but shallow. A chip under the base edge which only just encroaches on the side and is barely noticeable from the side, the under base dimensions of this chip are 25 mm by about 5 mm, this is reasonably shallow and runs along the bottom inner edge. Some of the usual light crazing. This is a nice example with strong vibrant colours and it looks great on display. Grade: 7.8 Estimate: $250 - 300
