In enamelled lettering: Pulv. / Antimon. / Poison. Polished pontil to base. Poison Poison Wide mouth cylinder with 17 horizontal ribs with blank space for white enamelled lettering. Lettering at base in red. Cobalt. 8 oz. 135 mm without stopper. 1900s
Fair. Displays OK but has been in two pieces and glued back together. This appears as a large crack starting to the upper left of the writing coming through the writing going down through the N of Poison, then straight across the base and up the rear to the left shoulder region where the crack extends approximately 30mm beyond where the two pieces have been joined. Along some of the ribs are flake chips where this break passes. The break has caused some minor flaking to a couple of the enamelled letters. Gets an OK grade on the basis that this is a reasonable filler as part of a set, including the original ground stopper. Grade: 4.5 Estimate: $200 - 300
