1. Good. Solid ginger beer but looks a bit stained. Around the top, shoulder and just extending down into the white section to the top left of the print are some fine hairlines. Around the shoulder are 5 or 6 very small shallow chips the most noticeable of which is 7 x 4 mm, the others being much smaller. There is a large 21 x 11 mm chip to the left back near the base covering part of the potters stamp. Some inor wear to the lip, there are some flakes to the glaze around the body. Minor marks and scuffs otherwise. (6.5). 2. Fair. Around the lip are some glaze flakes and pinprick type marks. Similar small marks can be found around the shoulder. The back of the bottle has some scratches and the body is a bit scuffed and lightly marked. Of course the major issues are around the base where there are 7 or 8 chips. The largest is at the front right, has been poorly filled and is 37 x 14 mm and extends a bit under the base. There is also an 18 x 9 mm chip to the front left base. Another poorly filled 13 x 4 mm one is under the Pinnacle Brand stamp and has a horseshoe crack extending from this. The other chips are relatively shallow but kind of continuous around the base. (5.4). Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 40
