Cobalt ornate salad oil. No base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top, tooled finish. 9 panels vertically down neck expanding to bulbous neck area, pinched in, then they extend over the shoulder to a draped area. Many vertical lines embossed down the bottle from here, down to an embossed ring near the base, which has a series of diagonal lines embossed below it. Cobalt. 20 oz. 259 mm. 1880s-1900s
Mint. Lovely bottle which is much rarer in this large size. Beautiful darker blue swirls through the glass. Lots of little bubbles. No marks to be seen. Great bottle which is believed to have contained French Olive Oil. Grade: 9.6 Estimate: $300 - 400
