Excellent. This is a superb piece of Australian pottery. There is a flake to the left outer side lip, 7 x 5 mm, which is shallow, and an internal flake at the same spot, about 10 x 10 mm and shallow again. Approximately the right half of the circumference of the outer lip has tiny glaze flakes, nibbles and wear around it. There are a few light scratches in the glaze. The original and matching lid has a few chips and flakes to the insert part that would sit within the lip of the jar. Once again, this is a great piece of early Australian pottery, one which we have not seen before. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $75 - 100
