Brass Cricket belt buckle with anchor, sword, cricket bat and balls surrounded by a wreath design. Sport and Play written in scrolls. Miscellaneous Buckle Brass cricket buckle. This is an insert type, with the main front badge being a separate part which is attached to the rest of the buckle. Still has the clip and the bar on the back, there is an extra part attached to the bar at the rear which has The Martin Patented written on it. 45 x 40 mm. 1870s
Excellent. Slightly bent. Very good detail, this has only been rinsed under water. Some minor corrosion. A good, solid buckle in great condition overall for a piece such as this. Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $150 - 200
