Cobalt blue grape flask, highly decorated with vines and grapes. No base mark. Spirits Brandy Applied top, ring in neck, ovoid flattened shape flask with highly ornate vine and grape decorations. No base mark. Cobalt. Pint. 220 mm without stopper. 1870s
Near Mint. Has some minor grime amongst the heavy embossing. On the inner shoulder and inner base is some dirt residue, this should all clean out. Lower vine decoration near one seam line has an 8 x 9 mm burst bubble with some dirt in the edges and near this are 2 other shallow open bubbles from manufacture. Under the base is a shallow 5 x 3 mm flake. Some crude, streaky bubbles that are just on the surface. Comes with the original clear glass stopper. Superb piece of glass.
