Poor. Big area of damage around one third of the top (more than could be described as a chip!). On the upside this ends just at the front left and when the lid is in place the jar displays perfectly well. Off the back of this damaged area is a short fracture (15 mm). Lid has a chip off the underside. Inside of the jar is hazy. Bail is typically rusty but solid. Grade: 4 Estimate: $50 - 100
