Excellent. Small fisheye to inner rear neck. 10 x 8 mm open bubble to front shoulder area. Some water staining to inner rear which will soak out. Some scratches scattered around externally, certainly not many and nothing too deep. Tiny impact mark to rear shoulder. The embossing is very strong. It does have some very minor wear in a few spots, and a few tiny flakes and impact marks, these are all barely noticeable. One of the rarest 26 ounce codds from Melbourne, this is the only one we have handled, with only another one or two known to collectors. All that, and it is in great, original and unpolished condition! Grade: 8.6 Estimate: $3500 - 4000
