Original package of two decks of cards, Penfolds Wine, 1844 to evermore. Each deck of cards is wrapped in the original plastic wrapping, sealed with a gold Ace for Universal Playing Card Co, crown Point Works, Leeds. One deck of cards has Maison Marnay / Brandy / A Penfold Hospital Brandy. The other deck has a man admiring a glass of red, Penfolds / Wine / 1844 to Evermore. Mint. New, never used. Plastic on one deck of cards is brittle and has started to open. Some very light wear to the box. Superb advertising pieces. These cards were company promotional items for selected merchant wine sellers. Grade: 9.7 Estimate: $75 - 100
