Pair of Lamonts: 1. G. H. Elliott / Trade E Mark / Carlton. Base: KBC Monogram / 5671. 2. G. H. Elliott / Trade / E / Mark / Carlton // Breffit's / Aire & Calder / Makers / London. Base: Breffit's / Patent / Bottle. Aerated Water Lamont Both: Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 233 mm & 225 mm. 1880s-1890s
1. Good. 9 x 3 mm burst bubble to the front shoulder. Some small wear marks/nibbles around the lip. Scratches and scuffs to the surface with the odd surface flake and impact mark. A few flakes undeer the base. Some annealing marks around the neck. 2. Fair. Polished. Lip chip has been repaired, 15 x 12 mm to rear lip, looks like some resin has been applied along the upper lip above this as well over a bigger distance. Surface haze has been removed but the bottle remains rough. Quite a lot of heavy pitting is still evident and there is some faint dullness in places. Some scratches and scuffs as well. Although listed as a Lamont this bottle actually had a slightly different stopper and is in fact a different patent. Quite a rare variation from this company. Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
